Bible

We believe that the Bible is God’s written revelation to man, inspired by the Holy Spirit, directing human authors. We also believe that the Bible is infallible and ultimately the authoritative Word of God (Matthew 5:18; 2 Timothy 3:15-17).

 

God

We believe there is only one true and living God, eternally existing as one in essence, in three Persons (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit), and as the creator and sustainer of all things (Matthew 3:15-17; Genesis 1:1).

 

Jesus

We believe that Jesus, the second Person of the Trinity, is coequal, coeternal, and one in essence with the Father, was born of a virgin. We believe that we are redeemed by His atoning death through His shed blood, that He was bodily resurrected into heaven, and is now seated at he right hand of the Father, as our mediator and High Priest (John 10:30).

Holy Spirit

We believe that the Holy Spirit, the third Person of the Trinity, is divine and coequal with the Father and Son, was active in creation, the incarnation, and the work of salvation. The Spirit glorifies our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus, convicts the world of sin, and is the agent of regeneration, indwells the believer and baptizes them into the body of Christ. The Holy Spirit also bestows spiritual gifts, empowers the believer for service, and seals them until the day of redemption (Genesis 1:2; Matthew 28:19; 1:18; John 3:5-7; 16:7-15; Romans 8:9; Ephesians 1:13,14;Titus 3:5).

Man

We believe that man was created in the image of God, affected by the fall; unable to save himself, therefore he can only be saved by the grace of God, through faith because of the shed blood of His Son Jesus (Genesis 1:26,27; Roman 5:12-19; Ephesians 1:2; 2:1,2,5,8-10; 1 Peter 1:18,19).

Salvation

We believe that we are saved by grace through faith, which is a gift of God and not something we can accomplish on our own. In order to be saved, one must repent of their sin, place their faith and trust in Jesus by confessing to Him as Lord. We believe that He took our place and paid the penalty for our sins, and believe in our heart that God raised Him from the dead. For the Scripture declares, “Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved” (Matthew 4:17; Ephesians 2:8-10; Romans 5:8; 10:9-13).

Church

We believe that the Holy Spirit unites all true born-again believers who believes in the Lord Jesus Christ, and that together they form one body, the Church, of which Christ is the head. We believe that Jesus will return to remove the church from the earth, and restore the promise of eternal rewards and blessings for the believer (John 3:8; 1 Corinthians 12:12).
